Fractures

Fracture repair in the dog and cat can be accomplished 

by application of a splint or cast.

 More often surgical intervention is required 

and may be achieved by internal 

fixation of a pin or plate to the fracture site. 

 Alternatively, fixation of a fracture by external means 

can be performed for some fractures. 

 Dr. Jordan will consult with your doctor and together best decide on the plan of action for fixing your dog or cat's broken bone.
